Our rich yellow-brown powder, ground from the fruiting body of the maitake mushroom. Known, in Japan, as ‘’The King of Mushrooms’’ these can reach widths of 1 metre and are well recognised for their medicinal benefits.
Like many mushrooms, maitake are rich in polysaccharides (our variety is 4%) and many other verified bioactive compounds that are likely responsible for a variety of health benefits including flavonoids, vitamins and minerals.
