Lion’s mane, also known officially as Hericium erinaceus, belongs to the family of Hericiaceae. The mushroom is an edible fungus that has been used in East Asia for centuries as food and medicine, our Organic lion’s mane powder is planted in Gutian.
The fruiting body of the mushroom is authorised to trade as food in Europe. After harvesting, the fruiting bodies of the lion’s mane are steam sterilized and ground down using a superfine pulveriser to give a fine powder.
